Maybe you have been living or renting in your home for a few years, just purchased a furnished home or are moving to the island and planning on shipping some things. The makeover will coordinate the old with the new, so that it reflects your style and new requirements.
Barefoot Experience
Our "Barefoot" design service allows you to enjoy dreaming about your new home while leaving all of the details to us in a turnkey design-to-installation process. We will take care of every aspect of your island retreat or rental property so you can just walk in and start living - barefoot!
Design Strategy
If you enjoy decorating, but need guidance and direction on furnishings, resources, paint colors, sizing, window treatments, landscaping, outdoor living or durability of materials, our 1/2 day Design Strategy Session is perfect for you!
Instant Rooms
If you only want to update one or two rooms, need some assistance with finishing touches, or light construction work, our "instant room" service might be right for you. Using your foundational pieces, we will source new pieces to freshen and upgrade your home.
How We Work
Discovery
With any design project, there is a big investment in time from both parties. Depending on your design needs, we will be working very closely with one another and building a long-term relationship. As the designer, it's my job to get to know who you are. Complete the Questionnaire to introduce yourself and briefly describe your design project. We will then contact you to review our services, process and pricing. Don't forget to check out our Portfolio for inspiration.

We review the floor plans. We explore several design schemes that propose different space plans, furniture layouts, and color schemes. We provide you with a checklist of items typically required, and help you choose preliminary materials and finishes. This phase in the design process can take up to several weeks, depending on the project scope. Then we present the initial design and narrow down any options. If you have revisions, we take these into consideration and make any necessary changes. Throughout the progress of the project we continue to review your preferences to ensure we are always meeting your goals.

We get specific and narrow down our options to one design scheme. Any revisions you have made will be represented here. We incorporate specifications for materials, fixtures and appliances. Every detail is considered. We source the exact furniture, paint colors, artwork and all decorative items required to complete your dream home.

Purchasing & Project Coordination
Once the final designs are approved, we begin sourcing and ordering items. If you have requested bespoke/custom items, this may take time to manufacture and deliver. In the meantime, we schedule and coordinate any trade work required. If light construction is necessary, we make regular visits to the site to observe the work being carried out by your contractor and answer any questions that may arise. As items ship, we will inspect them for damages and store them safely and securely until they are ready for installation.

Installation

You made it! Install day(s) is here! The moment you get to see all of the elements come together. We deliver all furniture and decor to your home and supervise the installation, ensuring everything has been installed as specified. The day after installation is complete, we’ll schedule a photo shoot to document our work in your space. We love sharing those final images with you to highlight our work. All invoices, warranty information, cleaning and care guides are packaged up conveniently into a final goodbye packet, along with your final invoice.
